- Michael Harding Oil Colours are among the finest oil paints available to artists today;
- The colours have a high load of premium pigments which are ground in refined cold pressed linseed oil (safflower oil in Titanium White No. 1);
- They are completely free of fillers, extenders, or driers, resulting in pure, rich, and vibrant colours that are lightfast and buttery;
- Michael Harding paints are made by hand, using techniques which date back to the days of the Old Masters;
- There is a very simple reason for this painstaking process - Harding's past as an artist and painter compelled him to want to create colours that were true and vibrant and paint which was beautiful and durable;
- The greater the pigment content of a paint, the greater the resistance it has to fading;
- Nearly all manufacturers use various fillers to extend the volume of the oil paint - it may increase profits, but it compromises on quality. Harding refuses to do this: 'Why make something exceptional and then dilute it?';

Tapyba užsiimu profesionaliai apie 16 metų. Pagrinde - aliejiniai dažai, drobė. Per tą laiką teko išbandyti daug įvairiausių priemonių, spalvų, pigmentų , dažų, drobių, gruntų ir t.t. Michael Harding aliejinius atradau prieš 6 metus. Pamenu savo įspūdį :)..Jisai buvo pozityvus ir vienareikšmiškas. Tai yra “ Hi-fi” ar net “ Hi-End” kategorija tapybos srityje. Pagal mane - vienas iš svarbesnių dalykų dažų gamyboje- pigmentas. Jo kokybė ir kiekis. Ar tai skaidrus, dengentis ar pusiau skaidrus pigmentas - jisai turi būt kokybiškas ir malonu kai jo yra daug. MH dažai pasižymi tikrai turtinga pigmentacija ir kokybe jos yra superine.. Taip, jie kainuoja brangiau už kokį nors Van Gogh’a arba Winton’a - bet ne šiaip sau) Tų gauni 2gubai daugiau pigmento tame pačiame kiekyje (37,40ml). Kodėl tai svarbu ? Na..kiekvienam pagal jo poreikį. Kokybiškas ir stiprus pigmentas leidžia dirbti be papildomų pastangų..Galiu miksuoti, skendinti, visaip kaip manipuliuot ir spalvos išlieka švarios ir išraiškingos. Tapant su pigiais dažais, vietoj gražių atspalvių, spalvos niuansų bei išraiškingų perėjimų - dažnai atsiranda pilkos spalvos-dėmės, kurios mažiau “ skamba “ ir neturi tos stipresnes vibracijos. Ypatingai maišant su baltais dažais ( Titano ) - greit pasireiškia pigmento kiekis. Jeigu jo maža - baltas viska išmuš. Spalvos intensyvumas dingsta ir tebelieka daugiau dėti dažo..Kai aukšto lygio dažai neturi tokių problemu..Tai leidžia dirbt ir greičiau ir paprasčiau ir maloniau. Viskas greitėja ir spalvos tiesiog skamba o ne priverčia nuolat dėt daugiau ir daugiau dažo..Jei pigmento bus maža - tai ir galimybių mažiau..
MHarding - tai tikras kaifas..ir pigmentas, kiekis, tekstura, kokybė - aukščiausiam lygyje.. Plius didžiulis pasirinkimas bei unikalios spalvos -tai tik džiugina )
