Description
Description
Koh-i-Noor Hardtmuth is a Czech manufacturing company of stationery products. Having been established in 1790, it is one of the oldest stationery companies in the world. At the 1889 World Fair in Paris, the Hardtmuths displayed their pencils - each pencil was encased in a yellow cedar-wood barrel. The inspiration for the name was the Koh-i-Noor diamond (Persian for "Mountain of Light''), part of the Crown Jewels of the United Kingdom, and the largest diamond in the world at the time. In 1900, the iconic yellow pencil 1500 won the prestigious award at the Grand Prix in Paris and became the most famous pencil in the world. The quality standards remain until today!
This product:
- Triangular colour pencils MAGIC in a wooden envelope with a special high quality tri-colour lead - 3 colour shades in a single lead;
- A set of 13 pcs including mixing pencil in a box;
- Ergonomic triangle shape permits optimum grip and guiding of the pencil;
- The pencil creates multi-colour trace that changes by rotating the tip;
- Unique for colouring of larger areas where multiple colour shades should alternate, e.g. grass, sea, and more;
- To reach the colour effect when using different drawing techniques (shading, hatching) the resulting drawing effect is more plastic compared to drawing with the use of classic colour pencil.
