About this product:

  • Distilled Turpentine is derived from pine trees and is the most traditional solvent;
  • Can be used to clean brushes and to create your own painting mediums;
  • An efficient solvent, removing even dried oil, alkyd and acrylic colours from brushes and painting tools;
  • Can also remove varnishes (including Dammar Varnish) in preparation for re-varnishing;
  • Do not use if it has thickened;
  • Mix and use for cleaning with caution;
  • It is the strongest and most hazardous thinner - use and dispose of responsibly;
  • Please also check if a less aggressive option might be appropriate for you.
