Made since 1920 (and, since 1959, at the St Cuthberts Mill workshop in England), it is officially endorsed by the Royal Watercolour Society. The paper is gelatine-sized, making it highly resistant to heavy scrubbing and demanding techniques, and is ideally suited not only to watercolour but also to acrylic, gouache, pastel, ink, and graphic or printmaking work.
