This is Liquitex - the world's first commercial water-based artists' acrylic paint.
About this product:
- Extends the open time of your gel color/medium by 40% so it is blendable and workable for longer;
- Maintains the same level of transparency;
- Thickens and increases viscosity;
- Retains brush/knife marks;
- Ideal for dry and hot climates;
- Start by adding up to 25% of Slow-dri to your color/medium with a knife, then mix in slowly and thoroughly, and use;
- If you're working over a long period of time, mix into color on the palette to keep it fresh and skin-free for longer;
- As this is an additive – with no acrylic binders - do not add more than 25% to your color/medium and do not mix with other additives - this can cause the acrylic film to break down, leaving it sticky and prone to shrinkage;
- Do not use with any non-acrylic media.
