Description
Speedball Speedy-Cut Easy™ Block, Blue
Speedball was founded in 1899 in the US, originally manufacturing writing implements. In 1915, sign artist Ross F. George's revolutionary square-cut pen nib — which allowed both fine and broad lines to be drawn in a single stroke — became so popular that it lent its name to the entire company: Speedball. Today, with over 125 years of history, it stands as one of the world's most renowned art supply manufacturers, offering products for calligraphy, printmaking, and ceramics.
About this product:
- Designed for water-based printing inks – this exceptionally soft, blue eraser-like material carves even more easily than the standard Speedy-Cut line, making it especially safe and suitable for students and beginner carvers;
- Multiple ways to transfer your design – easily transfer your image using a pencil and transfer paper, press a laser-printed design on with a hot iron, or simply draw directly onto the block;
- A flexible, durable material – resistant to crumbling, cracking, and breaking even with intensive use.
Important to know: this block is not suitable for oil-based inks – it works only with water-based printing inks, unlike the Speedy-Carve line.
